Monica Hopkins
Practice Administrator
Dr. Gharagozloo’s office
is capably managed by Monica Hopkins. Monica is a true bilingual in
English and Spanish, and is proficient in Italian. Her extensive travels
and understanding of other cultures make her a valuable asset to the
team.
She has worked with Dr. Gharagozloo for over 10 years of her almost 20 years in the medical/dental field. She has learned a great deal about dentistry and loves helping patients through education. She feels that a healthy, beautiful smile is a major key to overall good health.
Monica will ensure that every aspect of your visit is a comfortable, positive experience.
As the mother of 4, she is always working. She enjoys spending time with her husband, 4 children and extended family of friends.
Amy Gregory
Patient Care Coordinator
Amy Gregory has
been in the medical field for 10 years and discovered her interest in
the dental field one year ago. She enjoys helping people and loves to
educate our patients on the importance of dental health. She wants to
provide every patient with a wonderful and relaxing visit when they come
to our dentist in McLean. Amy has lived in the Northern Virginia area
for 2 years. She was born and raised in Texas. When she’s not working,
she enjoys shopping and spending time with her boyfriend and their dogs,
Pilot and Paxson.
Christina Turner
Chairside Assistant
Christina Turner has
been in the dental field for almost 10 years. She enjoys working
chairside with the doctor in providing quality, functional esthetic
dentistry to all patients. She loves interacting and making sure
patients have a pleasant and memorable experience when they visit the
practice. Christina loves to make good and healthy food, drink red wine
and travel around the world.
Honi-Jo Mathis
Dental Hygienist
Honi-Jo Mathis, received
her degree from Old Dominion University in 1979. She has received
advanced training from The LVI Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry and The
Pride Institute Continuing Education. She has been in dentistry for over
30 years and enjoys practicing hygiene in periodontal, general and
functional esthetic practices. She and our dentist in McLean, Dr.
Gharagozloo, have been practicing together for over 10 years.
What Honi-Jo loves most about her job is, of course, the people: both colleagues and patients. She loves the challenge of having everyone experience their dental visit as fun, fulfilling and absolutely something to look forward to, not dread. She has been very successful at accomplishing those goals--her patients are extremely loyal and adore her.
When she is not working, Honi-Jo enjoys spending as much time with her young adult sons as possible. She loves tackling the daily crossword and trying her hand at different forms of exercise. Her most favorite activity is getting to the beach, any beach, whenever she can.
